WHY SUPPORT FRIENDS OF THE FAMILY?

Friends of the Family brings quality services to families in Linn and Benton Counties. Every year we reach thousands of parents, couples, families, teens and singles with skills they can use to build healthier relationships and healthier homes. With your support, we can reach even more of our community and help to prevent and restore the problems that lead to broken relationships and families.

HOW YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT CAN IMPACT THE LIVES OF OTHERS

• $550 will offset the cost of an all day presentation to high school students on building healthy relationships
• $400 provides 5 marital counseling sessions to help ensure a child has a stable home
• $240 will cover 3 sessions for a couple seeking to prepare for a life-long marriage
• $160 makes available two counseling sessions for a low income family, single mom or troubled child
• $75 puts 150 copies each of "Ten Things Teens Should Know About Marriage" and "What You Need to Know About Living Together" into the hands of our local youth
• $50 helps a dad and mom learn good parenting skills
• $46 covers basic costs for one counseling session

Volunteer:

Our goals would be much harder to accomplish without help from volunteers. With a staff of seven, we depend on volunteers to help get the job done. From stuffing envelopes to decorating for events and raising money, our volunteers are invaluable.
